After earning his Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Master's Degree in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University, Burton advanced his career to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). He has further enhanced his credentials by attaining certifications as a Master Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP), Substance Abuse Expert (SAE), and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). He is a veteran of the United States Army, having proudly served his country for four years. Burton is passionate about working with both military and civilian communities.
His professional journey has led him through a variety of treatment settings, encompassing private practice, inpatient mental health/substance abuse, and outpatient mental health/substance abuse.
